South Park Photo Club

The South Park Photography Collective is a diverse group of San Diego-based picture-takers and artist. Photo Club, which began in 2005, meets regularly over supper to present, discuss, and adjudicate photographic interpretations of pre-selected words. The main purpose of Photo Club are to offer a regular venue to produce and present visually creative pieces, and to provide a forum to facilitate creative and artistic expression.

shadow - george z.

this is george zucconi's first photo club submission, and it's for the word "shadow." this image was rated best in show april 20, 2006.

george zucconi: "Here's the image I showed last night. It's the Federal Courthouse in downtown San Diego. The photo was taken in 1979 with a 4x5 view camera on black and white Kodak panchromatic film. I scanned the negative on a flatbed scanner with a transparency adapter, and the print I showed was a digital print from an Epson printer."
